Bird’s Notes

 

 

Walking through the lonely path
Near the Bear Shola falls
I heard three quick rhapsodic calls
Of an unknown unseen bird
Reaching to fortississimo;
It never came to my view
Thence I wonder ever and anon
Where the notes have really gone.
