Blood Sweat & Tears

drip drip drip drip dripped
the sweat from my skin
as i contemplated

drip drip drip drip dripped
tears from balancing the worth
on the scale

drip drip dripped
the blood in my heart
as i open the door
to set you free

i am drained
as i watched you fly away
