We didn't have time

We didn't have time
to say everything that
we had to say.
There were too many things
keeping us busy and
we couldn't see that
we were losing
the most important 
in our lives.
You needed me, but
I didn't see how
you wanted to be heard
and to hear me saying
that I loved you.
Is there still time?
Can love survive
to all the mistakes
we made because
of our blindness?
In fact, we had
all the time to say
all we needed to say.
