Contrariando a vida que assim nos afastou
E a ponto de saudade teceu trama de dor
Que de lágrimas tristeza em mim bordou

Em pano linho de esperança doce alvura
Na trama do tear das ternas lembranças
Bordada a negro em ponto cheio a loucura
A rematar de ilusão todas as esperanças

Meu amor que bordado fica em mim eternidade
Sempre a dizer-te adeus num lenço de namorados
Cores pensamentos em ponto de flor e felicidade

Das mãos que bordam tais lenços coloridos
Ficam em cada ponto sentimentos desenhados
Do coração relevos eternizando os sentidos
