Nossas mãos limpas chafurdam o barro na olaria
das almas, e podem transformar lama em poesia.
Alguns enaltecem e cantam o bem da sociedade.
Outros, como eu, trazem a fantasia à realidade.

Longe de nós a caixa de aplausos e a presunção.
Nem pense em esperar selfs, autógrafos e elogios.
O importante na poesia é a nossa própria emoção
como é a terra, a chuva e a vegetação para os rios.

Devemos trazer tatuado em nossa mente, isto:
Não podemos usar nosso talento com vaidade.
Nas mãos de preguicoso o barro é desperdício
Mas nas mãos do poeta barro é oportunidade.
