EU ME TORNEI POETA...
Eu me tornei poeta por lúdica necessidade,
mas existia em mim um pouquinho de vaidade.
Eu me tornei poeta ao descobrir na noite as cores,
mas foi também para cantar alegrias e dores dos amores.
Eu me tornei poeta por tanto agradecimento à vida,
mas também por lenitivo de algumas velhas feridas.
Eu me tornei poeta pelas batalhas da nossa trajetória
e dizer que é possível sempre alcançar a glória.
Eu me tornei poeta pela rima que corria em minha veia,
na esperança de que meus versos um dia alguém leia.
