Narciso cego (Thiago de Mello)

Tudo o que de mim se perde

acrescenta-se ao que sou.

Contudo, me desconheço.

Pelas minhas cercanias

passeio - não me freqüento.

 

Por sobre fonte erma e esquiva

flutua-me íntegra, a face.

Mas nunca me vejo: e sigo

com face mal disfarçada.

Oh que amargo é o não poder

rosto a rosto contemplar

aquilo que ignoto sou;

distinguir até que ponto

sou eu mesmo que me levo

ou se um nume irrevelável

que (para ser) vem morar

comigo, dentro de mim,

mas me abandona se rolo

pelos declives do mundo.

 

Desfaço-me do que sonho:

faço-me sonho de alguém

oculto. Talvez um Deus

sonhe comigo, cobice

o que eu guardo e nunca usei.

 

Cego assim, não me decifro.

E o imaginar-me sonhado

não me completa: a ganância

de ser-me inteiro prossegue.

E pairo - pânico mudo -

entre o sonho e o sonhador.
