EL CORAZON PUEDE SER CANTO
Si pudiese el corazón ser siempre canto
como el cantar desnudo de las aves.
El despertar del alma en la mañana
sería ave sin tener otros motivos.
Más doradas brillarían en el aire
las floridas copas de espinillos.
No se cruzaría la tristeza en tanto
cantara el ser como el canto de esas aves.
Y el arroyo y sus ranas con gargantas
llenas de gotas cantarían en frescor nutridas .
Ah! Si pudiese el corazón ser siempre canto
haciéndose ave, rana, arroyo o espinillo..!
