and the bears dance, clad
in bow ties and top hats,

clowns with painted faces
and bright costumes drift on by

green, yellow and blue pastel
balloons float on high.

a sparkle in wide eyes,

the baby coos and smiles,
his face filled with wonder,

as shapes and colors
go round and round,
