Couldn't Reach It
I know I was loved
I've never thought I wasn't
but
but I think that by the time I came around
And all the other kids were grown up
all the love was up in the air
for those adult kids to catch
and feel
and reciprocate
and I grew up
with all this love
up high in the air
I could see it up there
I knew it was there
but I couldn't touch it
I couldn't feel it
I couldn't reach it
