Daydreaming In Art #13

Oscar became overwhelmed with himself,
he had never taken to much time to
please any other woman as he was doing
for Jenna,

or he may have been pleased with himself,
being that he was in control all the time,
no matter the circumstances, he could
fix anything with a little convincing.

It was almost supper time, and Oscar
didn’t want anything to go wrong.

He called in his favorite restaurant
and ordered lobster tails over a bed
of wild rice, and a Caesars salad

The table for two would be set with
a linen cloth, and fine European china.
two Chrysanthemum glasses were neatly placed
neatly placed by each dish; 

underneath each a handmade coaster.

The magnitude of all his creations
were always a challenge, he was
an artist and his hands 
were always put to the test!

Quietly he walked up the stairs,

he didn’t want the others to know
What he was about to do,

a part of him had a heart and Oscar
did not want the rest to envy, 
to feel hurt, he did not want to
hear their sorrows during the night.

He carried Jenna in his arms, like a
Porcelain doll, and placed her near
his chair, like a princess next to
her prince’s throne.

Oscar imagined her eyes opened wide,
in disbelief!
