"Penso, logo existo" é um erro de Descartes...
"Se penso é porque existo" é um erro também!...
Se a essência precede e está além da existência
e o pensamento faz parte da essência;

Se a essência é imortal, é a alma,
a mente, a inteligência que permite pensar,

Então, penso para além da existência.
Logo, a essência contém a mente que pensa.
Logo, a essência é a raiz do pensamento.

Se a essência é a raiz do pensamento,
"Penso, logo tenho essência".
Tenho alma, que é a essência.
Logo, se tenho alma, penso,
Penso, logo tenho alma.
