Apenas cinzas
Corri atrás de todas
as chances,
tentei usar o
máximo das minhas
capacidades.
Lutei, vendo um sol
mais brilhante no
começo de cada
batalha.
Por repetidas vezes,
disse-me incessantemente
que minha luta era válida,
eu não estava gastando
meu tempo em quimeras
superificiais.
No entanto, o tempo passou.
Não veio a sonhada vitória
acalentada no baú secreto
das minhas ilusões.
Porém, insisto em continuar,
pois não quero permitir
que as chamas dos meus sonhos
se apaguem completamente,
deixando-me como lembranças
apenas cinzas.
