Going back home

After such a long time,
I'm going back home.
I've found my path again.

There was a time
I had lost my faith
I didn't know what to do.
But now I can remember my way
and I know much more
than I used to know.

I had also forgotten
who I was and everything
in which I believed.

You can't imagine
how I had to fight,
You'll never know
what I've seen.

The worst is over,
it's time to go back home.

I'm no longer scared,
I know who I am
and what I can do.

That's why I'm going back home.
