Pano branco encerra
o desejo de paz na guerra.
Pano branco da vela
é do barco que se espera.
Pano branco na igreja
veste a noiva que se beija.
Pano branco no adeus
enxuga os olhos meus.
Pano branco dia a dia
domina na enfermaria.
Pano branco entre os ais
se mancha dos hospitais.
Pano branco dá sorte,
menos na hora da morte.
Pano branco mortalha,
no velório é a toalha.
