Temente, tamanha
A sede de viver, gigante …
Almirantes, todos
Que o mundo possa
Conter, dementes vivamos
Capitães da areia,
Fundeemos castelos,
Quer sejam ou não âncoras
De verdade, nem os barcos
Rabelos, os portos-Porthos,
Dromedários, caravelas, deserto.
