MANSÃO DE OSSOS

Mausoléu,
Vivendo ao léu,
Tão suntuoso.
És um anfitrião tenebroso,
Mas recebes o humilde e o orgulhoso.
Em tua estranha calma,
De seu hóspede não tens a alma,
Que foi pro Céu
Ou pro Umbral,
Onde o mal
Passa a limpo todo labéu.
Ó mausoléu,
De ti tem medo
O velho e o moço,
Não entendem que a morte
É o recomeço,
E tarde ou cedo
Todos pagarão seu preço.
Mas, tu, ó Mausoléu,
Em teu colosso,
Só guardas osso.
