Choreography
On the corner
of Post and Seymore,
dealers and buyers
perform
the dance
of business.
Wide-eyed junkies
and wired crackheads
do the zombie shuffle.
Coke whores and party
girls wait to cut in
and do their hustle.
Big and bold,
‘Post Posse Rules,’
is scrawled
on the building’s walls.
A gentle reminder
of who calls the tune
on this street.
