Desvende o minguar que eu já não via!

Porque te amei um instante atrás,
Será amor, será pra toda a vida?
É por ti esta alma entristecida,
Elanguescida que em meu corpo jaz?

Alta ias, de véu branco vestida,
No teu porte de deusa, guarnecida
Por querubins e anjos de teu sonho!

Aguardas-te cogitando o meu sim,
O macio de nossa cama de cetim,
O berço róseo de teu grande sonho!
