SOLITUDE
Possa ser a vida alegre tanto
Ou triste todavia em seus trajeto,
Que amenize as lágrimas do pranto,
Ou enfatize o canto predileto,
Ou frize nosso alento incompleto,
Ao tempo que passamos isto enquanto,
Ficamos pois mais velhos e discretos!
Meditativos em nosso recanto!
Que o silêncio seja nosso alívio,
Honrando-nos com seu total convívio,
Ao brilho dos vitrais do eterno templo!
Aos jovens, em reflexões hauridas,
Deixemos o calor de nossas vidas,
E as cãs embranquecidas pelo tempo!
