Vejo as luzes dos candeeiros

Que se acendem

Ouço as vozes

E os sorrisos das crianças

 

Vejo as águas paradas no Tejo

E ouço ainda a única voz

De um silêncio inquieto

Que eu tão bem conheço

Cá dentro

 

E a vida lá fora!
