Trêmulas mãos
paternal cuidado
ânsia de protetor

Agoniza o pássaro
rubra mancha
tinge alvas penas

Pálpebras exangues
pesadas lentas
frêmitos fatais

suave sopra-lhe a chaga
resquícios vitais atende
a ave extremo alento

Aviva-se o semblante do pequeno
renovadas esperanças
Faíscas de um fogo enfraquecido

Débil momento desconsolo
Expira a ave
nos dedos crispados do menino....
