Se foi dos homens cantado,
Se teve louvor outr'hora,
Como ha de ficar agora
«Elmano por ti amado !
I r á ter a iam gráo sagrado
Accezo em almo transporte;
Não será subjeito á morte
Seu coração, seu talento;
E firme em tal pensamento
«Não teme o rigor da Sorte.»
