A metaphor slowly passes as you pull me into your perfect circle
overwhelming anxiety
I will break the chain, then sooth my own soul, break the fall then snip this umbilical chord
a body froze in moment suffocating through memory
one more medicated moment drifts passed my escape
learning of fires raging within the note
yet I don't want to feel such hostility
facing such harm I'm separated by conscious thought
proven to be beaten by overwhelming fear
rage to be tamed forgotten through residue
snipping away at the umbilical cord, changing the pace by killing you

The gate of sound now clears such thought, brilliant within words yet hopeless within thought
overwhelming hostility, I will break the chain then sooth my own soul

clear away, yet chained today, all that's left is this residue
moment to remember, yet all I hear is your silent scream, tearing away at your heart

through the will of a dying bipolar soul, the fate must escape my embrace
through misery I face tomorrow
forgetting today, yet helpless I fall
