Star Struck
She stares at the night sky
waiting for the right words.
Checking the star charts,
looking for constellations.
Seeking an alignment
of planets to inspire her.
And then,
a meteor shower of words
flashes before her eyes.
Leaving impact craters on pages
alive with her creation
of a poem.
