Ah, esses tempos esquizofrênicos

Sonhos tive,

e os tenho ainda.

Presságios tive

e os tenho ainda.

 

Sono já não tenho

e me atormenta o pesadelo.

Ouço vozes ao longe

Perdão! Não estou alucinando.

 

A insônia é fruto

de uma profunda inquietação

Ante ao grito acuado

que não cala a indignação.

 

Para onde vão?

Os que na pobreza estão?

De espírito, de alma

De infórtunio, de lama

 

Perdão! Não estou delirando.

São tempos esquizofrênicos

De tédio, vazio

De vilipêndio, dispêndio.

 

Noites se transformam

Em dias intermináveis

Vidas se transmutam

Em alegorias inconfessáveis

 

O que fazer dos sonhos

que já não mais se revestem de utopias?

O que fazer dos pesadelos

que já não mais se contam ao raiar dos dias?
