A Inveja pode ser algo bom
Se alguém consegue produzir um bom resultado,
Deviam todos ficar felizes,
Porque se o conseguiu fazer,
Igualmente os restantes poderiam conseguir,
E poderem aprender com o sucesso alheio,
Ou talvez nem seja necessário fazer,
Pode-se simplesmente desfrutar.
Se todos fossem obrigados a estar ao mesmo nível
Os membros mais talentosos não teriam liberdade
Para perseguir as suas capacidades e resultados,
O que inibiria a sociedade como um todo.
A inveja do conhecimento aumenta a sabedoria,
Se alguém souber mais,
A outra criatura pode crescer em sabedoria.
