Já fui ao mar e vim do mar,

Com saudades dele voltar.

Cansado e feliz estou aqui,

Porque fui e vim, não me perdi.

 

Já fui ao mar e vim do mar,

Estou aqui, e nele estou a pensar

Que, o amo e sempre quero lá ir,

E em paz poder continuar a ir e vir.

 

Já fui ao mar e vim do mar,

Agora que cheguei, vou sonhar,

Com ele no meu sono que quero ter,

E ter sempre vontade de o ver.
