Mira, mira, el cielo huye
Donde cuelga el aire al hambre
Y se pierde el sueño y el olvido
En la sequía del agua turbia
Aunque satisfagamos al llanto
Ahí donde hubiere cabido.

Oye, oye, la luna yerta
Por la historia perdida de una gota
Por el mar temeroso de la noche
En el último fuego congelado
Donde no cupiese ni un hueco
Con aquéllo que hubiese satisfecho.

Calla, calla, el lago nieva
Su sombra hecha ceniza
Su fuego lavado en seco
En el reloj esperando al tiempo
Cuando satisficiésemos al olvido
Donde ya no quepa el aire.

Porque ni a la risa satisfizo
Donde cabría cubriendo lumbre
En el pozo que bebe una grulla
En la nube que siembra hojas
En el canto de las piedras
En la sombra de las nieves.
