Nuvens brancas animadas
Lá no céu em movimento
Eu na Terra, sempre atento
Buscando frases rimadas
Que não podem ser caladas
Por vir do fundo do peito
E sendo assim desse jeito
Tão simples e sem floreio
Traz consigo como esteio
A bandeira do respeito

Vai meu verso em sua trilha
Sem pretensão nem vaidade
Com fantasia, verdade
Que no pensamento empilha
E na palavra que encilha
Leva pelos arredores
Às senhoras, senhores
Marcas que no tempo alastro
Eu vou deixando de rastro
Sementes de paz e flores.
