Olha, vem cá!
Eu preciso falar contigo.
Descobri que um problema antigo
Vem à tona de além-mar!
Um forasteiro desembarcou na cidade,
Trouxe na bagagem uma bomba atômica...
Percebi qual seria sua tônica,
Que era dissipar do mundo a realidade!
A vida tornar-se-ia uma utopia,
O sentimento humano seria violentado...
Os devaneios para sempre trancafiados
E o viver do homem uma eterna nostalgia!
Tudo desapareceria por encanto,
Nos jardins não haveria mais flores,
Nem platônicos seriam os amores
E nossa face banhar-se-ia de pranto!
Olha, vem cá!
Eu preciso dizer a verdade...
É necessário evitar que tal calamidade
Transforme em alegoria o nosso bem-estar!
O forasteiro parou de repente
Comovido com o sorriso de uma criança,
A cidade inteira viu ressurgir a esperança
E a vida pôde seguir em frente!
Olha, vem cá!
Pensa na magia do sorriso,
Só assim pode o homem sonhar com o Paraíso
E o mundo, afinal, aprender a amar!
