No céu, a lua vai alta!
E vai!...Toda mergulhada na dor...
Na dor de uma luz prateada!
Que fulge em tão tristonho palor...

Brilha num céu carregado!
Por entre nuvens, de denso negror...
E dela, já quase que, apagado!
Só resta uma réstia de cor...

Estronda - o céu -, todo demudado!
E todo demudado de cor!
Esvai-se - a bramir -, desolado...

Do luar!...O tênue cintilar prateado,
Num céu de escuro fulgor!
No lago, já quase que vai apagado...
