Decrépitas - no céu -, pontilhando...
Pontilhando, mansamente, etéreas!
Já quase que em mim se apagando...

Do findo universo!...Em expansão...
Pontilham - as estrelas -, sombrias...
Pontilham no céu... Na imensidão!
Da existência que me foi tão vazia...

Estrelas velhas... Ó velhas estrelas!
Pelo céu, eu muito as procuro!
E inda tanto eu sofro por querê-las...

Pontilham no universo, enfadadas...
Apontam o caminho, o futuro!
