NO PAÍS DO CARNAVAL

E agora que acabou o carnaval
Iremos nos despir da fantasia
Chegou a hora de cair na real
Vestindo a rotina do dia-a-dia

Teremos de prestar contas ao Leão
Que vive furioso ao nosso derredor
Tentando nos prender na malha fina
Dar quatro meses a ele é triste sina

Pagar os impostos é o nosso dever
Dando-se a César o que é de César
Temos de exigir saude e educação
Ao invés de alimentar o mensalão

E sustentar a quem não trabalhou
Dando bolsa-esmola aos coitados
Que humilhados vão comer o pão
Sobeja-nos o que o diabo amassou

Trabalho nunca foi renda, mas salário
Nós viramos os “sem eira nem beira”
Enquanto a gente abastece ao erário
Recomeçando tudo na quarta-feira!

Porém há pouco índio e muito chefe
E ainda querem ressuscitar a CPMF!?
