When imagination captures a thought
rejected due to ones selfish stance
emotions flow still, a kiss that burns
worthy for a mend, steady in hand
when the answer lies hidden
shattered, helplessly torn
when all that was gained
simply fades along the forbidden path
left with only sorrowful pain
obstacles now stand before
a passing of wisdom, knowledge
much more, praying to be adored
to return to a loving place
one that holds a past, a true destiny
roses now surround, a final bed,
where you may lay
with all that remains unspoken
your rode has now come to an end
