Innocence

The Look of Innocence

     in your eyes.

The tough man laughs

     as the little boy cries.

There is no love left- only fear.

     Let me help you now-

Let me catch your last tear.

I'm trying to understand the way you feel,

Let go of the pain-

And hold on... to what's real.
