Carnaval
O gari cantava suavemente
E o vento espalhava sua tarefa pelos ares
Confetes, serpentinas, fantasias
E folhas secas, papéis e poeiras.
O gari cantava suavemente
E no asfalto recolhia a história de um dia
Tamborim, surdo, agogô, alegorias
O resto do tudo que foi muito, hoje cinzas.
O gari cantava suavemente
E o sol castigava, o suor escorria,
Da contagiante alegria à lenta agonia,
Limpas erros e acertos do instante fugaz.
O gari cantava suavemente
E nas arquibancadas vazias,
Trôpegos, bêbados foliões na ressaca, adormeciam
E a volta à rotina, morrer por mais 361 dias...
