A concha (Ossip Mandelstam)
Talvez não precises de mim,
Noite; da mundial voragem
Tal como a concha sem pérolas,
A tua margem fui lançado.
Tu espumas as ondas com indiferença
E cantas com teimosia,
Mas terás apreço, amarás
Da concha a inútil mentira.
Ao seu lado deitarás na areia,
Com sua casula te vestirás,
Um indestrutível e grande sino
Com ela na marola erguerás.
E as paredes da frágil concha,
Como a casa de vazio coração
Encherás com os sussurros da espuma,
Com a chuva, o vento e a bruma...
