Depois do Tejo
Não basta passar o Tejo
É preciso avistar um sobreiro
A primeira cal contrastando o ocre
Para que me sinta em casa
A terra, o trigo, a cortiça
Atravessam meus tantos poros
Irrigando meu sentir
No poial polido
Trocam-se histórias de infância
Sorrisos sinceros
E silêncios celestiais
Olha uma estrela cadente
Diz o pequeno
A vida sulca a tua tez escura
Desgasta o negro feltro em teu chapéu
Mas minh’alma em ti perdura
Meu simples mas pleno Alentejo

Através das palavras é fácil imaginar a imagem...este poema é uma fotografia feita de palavras.
Palavras que expressam o sentimento,a nostalgia, a saudade e a ternura que se misturam na criação da essência do poeta.
