AS AREIAS DO TEMPO II

 

As areias do tempo II
 

O viajante se cobria com os panos listrados.
Era uma tempestade de areia que chegava...
Abrindo caminhos pelo deserto,
Que naquele momento, parecia sem fim!
Ardia-lhe os olhos, lacrimejavam...
Triste estava, procurando a esmo, sua amada...

O tempo passava... A ampulheta não para!
Os grãos da areia desciam sem dó...
Revelando ao viajante, quão cruel era seu destino, itinerante...

A tempestade de areia, agora aumentava:
Chegava em ondas, tal qual, o mar distante...
Ele, já desiludido de encontrá-la, chorou.
A ampulheta esvaziou, seu tempo havia terminado!
A tempestade de areia, levou consigo,
O amor, que para os dois, era proibido...
