Sempre esfomeada
batendo de porta em porta
tal cadela sem dono
sempre corrida a pontapé.
Que pena, que dó
tenho dela
sem eira nem beira
sem caminho
nem fé.
Desgraçada,
sempre usada,
alvo da pedrada
da mágoa de alguém,
procurando o amor
por um vintem.
