FAZER O BEM

Porquê fazer o mal na vida
Quando bem podemos fazer.
Mas nada temos a perder
Se ajudarmos a alma perdida,
Mesmo às vezes estrangeira
Que no mundo erra sem amor
Sem carinho nem boa direção;
Como algumas crianças são
Criadas sem eira nem beira.

Nós com todas comodidades
Lutando por meras futilidades
Que nos levam ao mal fazer,
Não vemos ao nosso redor
A carência que pôr aí vai.
Mas nós estamos a perder
A ocasião de mostrar amor
Ao sofrimento que por aí vai.

É bem mais fácil o bem fazer
Para nossa humana consciência
que fazer o mal ou nada fazer.
Temos a ganhar e nada a perder
Se ajudarmos essa indigência
Com toda a nossa bondade
A ter ainda alguma felicidade.

Meus amigos e amigas excelentes
Não fechem as portas do coração
Aqueles que em necessidade estão.
Ás vezes necessidades prementes
E quase sempre muito urgentes
E que nós bem sabemos, porem.
Nunca percamos a oportunidade
Por nós e para nossa felicidade
De aos necessitados fazer o bem!
