“Ecos Distantes”


Apaga-se outra estrela
No cintilar da noite silenciosa…
Se olhos pudessem vê-la…
Qual de todas? Por certo, a mais airosa

De virtudes, as cores lhe sejam,
Brios e reflexos, mares encantados…
Se lonjuras silvestres, luares vejam,
Olhares lavrados, campos rasgados…

Ecos distantes, no amanhecer
Sepultam a noite amedrontada;
Lembram suor ao sol a morrer…

Bebo no vento o néctar do tempo,
Que me consome a carne, contudo, mais nada
Fique, que não, meu verso: Filho do momento.
