Quando pretendemos ter uma visão panorâmica do espaço ao nosso redor, a fim de estabelecermos maior compreensão do que ora estamos a observar, nós procuramos olhar tudo de modo mais distanciado. A mesma coisa se dá com o tempo, pois, à medida que ele corre, mais nos afastamos de nosso passado, razão pela qual podemos entender melhor tudo que aconteceu conosco. Isto aumenta sobremaneira nossa capacidade para perdoar.
