A Cena
As sombras que vagam no palco vazio
ainda murmuram solenes
os últimos trechos da grega tragédia
de tanto antes e de tanto agora.
Homens indefinidos buscam mulheres indefinidas,
mas o tempo já não os permite,
pois as cortinas há muito foram abaixadas
e apenas o silêncio ocupa as poltronas
que um dia os assistiram.
E, ainda assim, nalgum canto,
alguma máscara recita o que sentimos
e não sabemos dizer.
