MEIO–FIO
Sentado no meio-fio pensativo
Vem a mente muitas lembranças
De quando era um menino ativo
Brincando com outras crianças
Nesta rua em riba da carroça
Com o chão de terra batida
Ele seguia a caminho da roça
Para obter a colheita merecida
Com sacrifício estudou o seu filho
Colocou-o na melhor faculdade
Educou-o de joelhos no milho
Para ser cidadão útil a sociedade
O filho formou-se e foi embora
Foi fazer carreira na grande cidade
Hoje sozinho de saudade ele chora
Esta é mais uma triste realidade
