ÁGUA DA MORINGA

Depois da labuta renhida
de laçar boi o dia inteiro
para sobreviver na vida
e comer poeira no terreiro;
guardei o laço no prego da parede,
respirei uma alegria na alma,
dei um cochilo na rede
como numa eternidade calma.

O vozerio na cozinha
vi que tão cedo não acabava
e se estendeu até a noitinha;
mas, não me atrapalhava...
E o pessoal só foi embora
bem depois de muita prosa.
Então joguei a dolência fora
com a preguiça teimosa.

Mas, para um caipira como eu
sem muita coisa na mente,
que nada ganhou nem perdeu,
que nem tá triste nem contente,
se a solidão bate mesmo,
toma um golinho de pinga,
masca um naco de torresmo
com a água fresca da moringa.
