Espírito amado, por que me abandonaste?
Deixaste-me só, isolado e mui tristemente...
Que vou fazer agora neste mundo indiferente?
Solidão é minha estrada; a vida, meu contraste.

Cultivar uma saudade... Este é o meu destino!
Recordações lavam meu corpo e minha mente,
Então esta nostalgia invade-me para sempre
E minha consciência já não sabe o que imprimo.

Os dias que foram teus... Agora tão só vacância
E tudo em mim se perdeu, tornei-me intolerância
Para sobreviver neste orbe isento de tua arte...

Súplicas ao Divino endereço tresloucadamente,
Apenas Ele conhece o que meu coração sente
Sem poder ouvir-te, ver-te, ter-te... E beijar-te!
