Pão
Amigo me dê licença
Preciso me sentar,
Eu vivo de providência
Não tenho onde trabalhar,
Desse jeito ninguém agüenta
Andar sem se alimentar.
Me dá um pedaço de pão
Que é para eu não desmaiar,
Por favor, não diga não.
Preciso em pé ficar,
Obrigado meu irmão
Jesus lhe recompensará.
Vivo essa vida cruel
Mas, não morrerei de fome.
Enquanto houver Deus no céu
Não jogarei meu nome
No lixo ou no beleleu
Sou um nada eternamente homem.

Lindo texto, e tão real! Sabe, quando os corações do mundo, conhecerem o amor de Deus, nenhum homem mais vai precisar mendigar um pedaço de pão. Parabéns.
