Peça-nos a proteção segura!
Santa Maria! ante seu brilho,

Santa Maria! nossa predileta!
Será sempre na terra um hino,
E a inspiração de um poeta!
E o badalar da voz de cada sino,
No coração daquele que te implora,
Esta humanidade que te adora!
E cantam -te a grandeza os filhos teus,
No comovente agonizar de cada dia!
Ó mãe do onipotente DEUS!!!
